Azrael: The Angel of Death

“That night the angel of the LORD went out and put to death one hundred eighty-five thousand men."

Angels of the Multiverse
First off, let me emphasize that the Angel of Death series is FICTION as in make believe, as in not real. I have taken creative license with the theology of angels, molding it to the fictional world of the Multiverse. That said, here's some information on how they stack up.
I. Archangels: there are five.
    A.  Michael or Mick, is the head of the angelic army.
    B.  Gabriel or Gabe, is the articulate spokesperson.
    C.  Uriel, aka Joey Terelli, is earth-bound and Liam's partner. He's a muscular 6'2", with hazel eyes, a shaved head and a preference
for black and leather. He's a guitarist and has studied all types of stringed instruments, studying with the masters of many
genres over the centuries. In his true form, he appears as a figure of blackness with gold flecks swirling through his body. His
touch results in the person being sucked into a Multiverse cell.
    D.  Azrael, aka Liam Michaels, is a 6'2" wiry, silver-eyed man with medium length silver hair. Think Anderson Cooper of CNN. He is a
photographer and painter and is responsible for all of the paintings attributed to Claude Monet. He is a Voidmaster and can move
through the infinite dimensions of the Multiverse through entries/exits called void points. He can also manipulate the
Multiverse to create worlds that are either paradises or living hells. In his true form he appears as a being of molten silver light.
He is the most powerful of the Archangels.
    E.  Lucifer or Luce is the leader of the Fallen. He moves between the human dimension and his personal dimension through portals
similar to a void point. He has the ability to create demons and send them forth to ravage the world. He's also a master at
controlling humans through deception. He is linked to the four archangels in a way that lets them sense his presence, although he
         cannot sense them.
    F.  General Characteristics: All except Lucifer lack lifestones and are connected directly to the Big Guy who sustains them. Liam
and Joey are vulnerable to something like a gun shot wound to the head, but with any other wound, they can move into the
Multiverse where they will heal. Luce, on the other hand, has a black crystalline life stone as do all of his demonic creations. The
black color indicates he is irredeemable.
2.  Non-Archangels
    A.  Many can shift between two human forms, one secret, and one public. They have ruby red life stones signifying they can be
redeemed. The stone is usually located on the right side of their chests or in one of their heals, making them more difficult to kill.
They heal rapidly from any wounds, are impervious to poisons, and alcohol has no effect on them.
    B. Angelic Thrones are living symbols of the Big Guy's justice and authority. They are dispensers of his justice, which unless they've
fallen, is perfect. Examples: Danjal (Dani Suskind), Nelchael (Nel Callahan), and Nakir (Etienne De Villaine).
    C. Seraphim serve as caretakers of the Big Guy's throne. They regulate the heavens and it is said that such a bright light emanates
from them that even other angels cannot look directly at them...unless they've fallen. Those that have fallen lose their light, but
having spent long years in the presence of the Big Guy, they are said to be extremely clever. Examples: Asmodeus (Martin
Sarafanov), Astaroth (Peter Karol), Semyaza (Alain Dumas), and Abbadona (Basile Boudin).

Demons:
Demons are creatures created by Lucifer and sent into the human dimension through a portal specifically tuned to their black life stones. Some command black fire, a black demonic flame that incinerates any living thing it touches in seconds. All demons can use their blood as weapons. A wound from a knife coated with demon blood will incinerate the person slowly from the inside out. Demons are immortal and because of their black life stones are generally thought to be irredeemable. They are impervious to wounds except one that shatters their life stone. If the portal connecting them to their master is closed, they become mortal with a finite lifespan, but retain their supernatural abilities. Transport to the Multiverse makes them like any human being.
