Azrael: The Angel of Death

“That night the angel of the LORD went out and put to death one hundred eighty-five thousand men."

Liam Michaels, a wealthy artist and photographer, understands terrorism. While others may wonder how a human being can commit heinous acts of mass violence, he doesn’t. He knows the reason—they aren’t human.  To struggling artists, homeless people, and a little crippled girl in need of an operation, Liam is a compassionate guardian angel. But in reality, he’s Azrael, the immortal Angel of Death, placed on earth to track down and destroy evil originating from demonic sources.

On New Year’s Eve, Liam intercepts two men setting a briefcase-size neutron bomb in a Times Square hotel. In the process, he discovers they are part of the Ba, a terrorist group spawned by the demon Raum, who Liam has been pursuing for three thousand years.

Jean Delacroix is not just a CEO nor is his company, Connaissance Industries, simply the world’s largest manufacturer of computer processors and chips.  Delacroix and Connaissance are secretly part of the Ba. Using an undetectable sentinel code inserted into all Connaissance hardware, Delacroix initiates a series of Internet thefts from U.S. and European Banks totaling billions.  But he doesn’t stop with Internet thievery. In keeping with the goals of his master, he leaves a calling card at the sites of his thefts—a mini-neutron bomb.

Liam must combine his angelic abilities with those of some uniquely talented men and women and some of today’s most advanced technologies to find and stop the Ba and their demonic leader.
